1. How do you cite a direct quote differently from a paraphrase?

You put a direct quote inside of quotation marks, but you summarize the author's words when paraphrasing.

2. Can you copy and paste information for a report from the Internet? If no, why not? If yes, how?

No because when you copy and paste without giving credit to the author, you are committing plagiarism.

3. What is a reference? What is a citation? Where do they appear?

A citation is a source that you directly mention in the body of your essay, while a reference comes after your essay on a separate sheet of paper.

4. For you personally, what is the most difficult part of using citations and references?

The most difficult part of using citations and references is remembering to copy the url of the website before you leave the website.

5. Create reference listings for:

    2. Frog. (2018, January 02). Retrieved January 04, 2018, from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frog
