1. How do you cite a direct quote differently from a paraphrase?

- A direct quote has to include the author, the year of publication, and the page number and you should introduce the author with a prior to introducing the quote.

2. Can you copy and paste information for a report from the Internet? If no, why not? If yes, how?

- Yes you can, you just have to properly cite the source and be sure to avoid plagiarism.

3. What is a reference? What is a citation? Where do they appear?

- A reference can be found at the END of a paper, it is where readers can find all the sources that were cited. A citation can be found in the reference page and is used to give credit to the proper author of the work.

4. For you personally, what is the most difficult part of using citations and references?

- It's difficult to know whether or not you've cited something correctly, which isn't good because that could get me in trouble in the future.

5. Create reference listings for:

    1. A web page of your choice: Mitchel, P. J. (2017, November 11). Welcome to the Purdue OWL. Retrieved January 03, 2018, from https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/560/05/
    2. A picture of your choice: Milk, C. M. (2015, October 13). Cow Clipart [Photograph]. Photo Book, Google Images, Augusta.

6. Create two different ways of doing an in-text citation. (Can be fictional.) 3 BONUS POINTS, but only if you complete the other questions also.

I'm no longer requiring the 'personal communication' citation due to lack of a good example.
